The Denver Broncos a six decades old team born in 1960 as one of the founding members of the American Football League. The Colorado Rockies team is playing in the Major League Baseball National League roster. The team is based in Denver with a home stadium at Coors Field. At Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer were the Western Conference’s best team in 2021, but they fell in the conference semifinals. In the 2022 season, they will look for their second MLS championship, with their first coming in 2010.

Colorado is also the home to college sports like football, basketball, hockey, and other sports. The Pac-12 NSD’s University of Colorado Collins plays in Boulder, Colorado State University Rams in Fort Collins, University of Denver Pioneers in the south of downtown Denver and the United States Air Force Academy Falcons in Colorado Springs. The University of Northern Colorado Bears is a member of the NCAA Division I FCS.
